Sir/Madam,
Please go through an eMail from CEPT and act accordingly.
Sir
Kindly see the following lines received from CEPT saying the PO's of CBS offices will execute the first step of the EOD namely HSCOD (SOL Change Of Operating Date) after ensuring that all theEOD blocking validations are cleared. The other two steps will be executed by CPC to aall CBS offices in Tamilnadu Circle.
Kindly circulate this to all CBS offices and instruct to execute only HSCOD and ensure that the first step is completed and an E Mail should be sent to CPC regarding the same.
You are aware of the issues during EOD for the past few months with respect to EOD batches. To get over this issue Infosys have suggested that a reorganization of the process of execution and in the distribution of batch job will result in improvement. As a consequence the following steps are approved by the Directorate as an experimental measure for three circles from Saturday (05/07/2014) and if found beneficial the same will be replicated for all the other circles also.
The POs on CBS in the circles mentioned above
- will execute the first step of the EOD namely HSCOD (SOL Change Of Operating Date) after ensuring that all theEOD blocking validations are cleared.
- the EOD operator/Supervisor/
System administrator in the PO will ensure that in HSSI menu the 'SOL status' shows 'SOL POSTCOD DONE' after HSCOD is executed - will intimate the Circle SPOC that HSCOD is complete for their PO (by email)
After all the SOLS or a majority in the Circle intimate that HSCOD is complete, the SPOC or the designated person at the CPC will execute HSOLCOP followed by HSCOLD with Circle SET id.
Regards,
CBS Branch,
