Rotational Transfer 2015 – reg.
It is
proposed to rotate the officials in LSG and PA cadre who would be completing
tenure as on 30.09.2015. The names of
officials completing tenure are furnished in Annexure A and the names of the
officials due for Retirement are furnished in Annexure B and number of posts
intended to be filled up in each office are furnished in Annexure C.
Those officials who are completing tenure may
submit their requests for transfer, in the enclosed proforma. Previous
representations, if any, will not be taken into consideration for the present
RT. The new postings would be based on
the interest of the service, request of the officials, suitability of the
officials based on IT Modernisation Project, past service record, training
undertaken etc.
Non LSG officials willing to work in the norm
based LSG posts lying vacant may also submit their requests. Those requests would be considered, if no request of LSG official is available.
Those posted in LSG norm based post are likely to be reverted on filling up of
the posts by regularly selected officials, or until further orders. Requests of the Officials who have not
completed his/her tenure would not be
considered. The number of PAs notified as vacant is tentative.
The requests from the officials should
reach this office on or before
06/04/2015 through proper
channel. Applications sent directly to
Divisional office will not be entertained.
Any request for retention beyond the prescribed tenure, addressed to the
Postmaster General, Southern Region (TN), Madurai 625 002 should reach this
office on or before 01/04/2015 in
duplicate. Since there is no guarantee
of extension being granted, officials who apply for extension of tenure should
also submit requests, indicating atleast three places of choices in order of
preferences within 06/04/2015. However, the request of choice will be
considered subject to administrative convenience and availability of posts.
The Rotational Transfer orders are subject to various
provisions of new transfer policy issued by Directorate vide memo
no.141-141/2013-SPB-II dated 31.01.2014 and communicated through RO memo
no.STA/8-10/2014 dated 20.02.2014.

Discrepancies, if any noticed, with regard to
completion/non completion of tenure may be brought to the notice of this office
at once by the Postmasters/Sub Postmasters or the officials concerned, through
proper channel, not later than 01/04/2015.
The contents of
this letter may please be brought to the notice of all concerned, including
those who are on leave, training, deputation etc., without fail.
