Subject : Dequarterisation of Thachanallur SO reg.
Ref :PMG SR VR dtd 05.02.2021
The Thachanallur SO is
functioning in a rental building with the establishment of 1SPM + 2Pas + 2Pmen + 2GDS officials and a
separate quarters is available for the SPM on the first floor.
But the space provided
for the office use is much inadequate . The counter arrangement is too
congesting to accommodate more number of
customers visiting this office daily either for Postal transactions or Adhar related works.
The public hall is very small that no
proper waiting arrangements can be made even for Senior citizens. Also there is
no enough space for the Delivery staff too and they find more difficult to do
beat sorting daily and no space for placing system,printer and no space for keeping vouchers .
Hence in order to manage the space efficiently , the Delivery and
Sorting branch may please be shifted to
the upstairs by dequarterising , as the quarters is also inadequate for a
family to live in this present life style and there is acute water scarcity
prevails during summer season.
It is requested to consider the above facts and arrange for the
dequarterisation of thachanallur SO at
the earliest please.

This union wish to bring the following few lines for favour of necessary action
please
1. A PA who was posted @ Munanjipatti SO has got
transferred to Chennai region and no one is posted yet.
2.A PA posted
at Panagudi was not yet relieved from Dindugul
Since the transactions in these offices are much heavy, it is not able to complete
the works one hand short regularly
Hence it is requested that one PA may be deputed
immediately to each of this office in
order to manage the shortage of staff.Also it is requested that these two PA
vacant posts may please be listed in the
ensuing RT2021 .
